WordPress Website Development

Ely Website Design builds custom WordPress websites for small businesses across Ely and Cambridgeshire, starting from £900. We design, build and support every website ourselves — no handing you off to someone else. We work flexibly around each client, by phone, email, or in person.

WordPress powers more websites than any other platform, which means you’re never locked into one company to manage your site. It’s flexible, scalable, and easy to hand over to someone else in future if you ever need to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why WordPress rather than Wix or Squarespace?

WordPress gives you full ownership of your website, rather than locking you into one company’s platform. It’s also more flexible for adding features as your business grows.

How long does a WordPress website take to build?

Most Starter and Professional websites are completed within a few weeks, depending on how quickly we receive your content and feedback.

Do I own my website once it's built?

Yes. Once your website is complete, it belongs to you.

Do you write the content for me?

Full copywriting is included in our Enterprise package. For Starter and Professional packages, we can add content writing as an extra — just ask for a quote.
